Coming for Stampede? Make sure cowboy boots aren’t your only footwear.

Will you be joining us in Calgary for the Stampede’s historic 100th anniversary this year? If you do find yourself in Calgary between July 6-15 (2012 of course), don’t forget to bring your walking shoes! We will have many walking tours going for the duration of the Stampede, and would love to have you out.

Stampede is the most lively time of year in Calgary, and this year is expected to take it even further. While most of us enjoy putting on our Stetson (that’s a cowboy hat) and doing a little bit of two-stepping, 10 full days of Stampeding can be a bit much for even the most seasoned cowperson.

If you’re looking to explore downtown Calgary beyond the rides and pancake breakfasts (both of which we do recommend trying, of course), then why not come for a walk with us?
